We strongly recommend using the same brand and model when connecting panels in series or parallel. Mixing panels with different voltage or current ratings can cause significant power loss and may potentially shorten the lifespan of your equipment.
Is the GEYOTO solar panel waterproof? Can it be used in the rain?
The panel surface is IP68 rated, offering excellent weather resistance. However, solar efficiency is extremely low during rain, and you must ensure the output ports remain dry. Always wipe the panel dry before folding and storing to prevent mildew.
How to clean the solar panel surface to maintain high efficiency?
Periodically wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Never use harsh chemical solvents, paints, adhesives, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the ETFE protective coating.
