What battery type is used? Is it safe to use indoors?
GEYOTO portable power stations use LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries, which are known for their superior safety, stability, and long lifespan compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries.
They are completely safe for indoor use because they:
• Do not produce fumes or emissions
• Do not require fuel
• Operate quietly with no noise
In addition, the built-in Battery Management System (BMS) provides multiple layers of protection, including:
• Overcharge protection
• Over-discharge protection
• Overload protection
• Temperature control
This ensures safe operation both indoors and outdoors.
How Do You Charge a Portable Power Station?
You can charge GEYOTO portable power stations in multiple ways, making them highly flexible for different scenarios:
- Wall outlet (AC charging) – fastest and most common method
- Solar panels – ideal for outdoor and off-grid use
- Car charger (12V) – convenient while traveling
- Generator (gas/diesel) – for emergency backup
This multi-charging capability ensures you always have power wherever you are.
What’s the difference between 256Wh and 1024Wh? Which one should I choose?
The main difference is capacity and power capability:
•256Wh → Lightweight, portable, for small devices and short use
•1024Wh → Higher capacity, supports larger devices and longer runtime
How to choose:
For camping / light use → 256Wh
For home backup / high-power devices → 1024Wh
If you're unsure, choose based on the wattage of the devices you plan to power.
What warranty do you offer?
We provide a 3-year standard warranty for all GEYOTO portable power stations.
In addition, you can get 2 years extended warranty(total of 5 years)by registering as a member, giving you extra peace of mind and long-term support.
What devices cannot be powered by a portable power station?
Devices that exceed the unit’s rated output power cannot be supported.
Examples may include:
•Air conditioners
•Electric heaters
•Large ovens or heavy-duty appliances
Always check your device’s wattage before use to ensure compatibility.
